Focus Features recently made a bunch of copyright complaints, and those of us who'd put it up got warned. It's the company's legitimate right, of course. But I can't help feeling they're wrongheaded in doing this. After all, the uploads merely help get the word out -- certainly, none of us on YouTube are out to stop them from making money, and we don't reap any financial rewards ourselves. Studios generally seem to be ok with trailers being posted to youtube and widely distributed. Apparently this specific trailer wasn't supposed to be out yet (or at all) and that is why they are being more aggressive.
