The Movie Trailer Blog

Ocean’s 11 looked like it was going to be a great movie. All those awesome actors, the great director, the fun premise. It had everything to be a truly entertaining movie. And yet, I was bored once I actually watched it.

The second movie was, according to some people, much better. But I never got around to seeing it. After the first one I just couldn’t get excited enough.

Will the third film be any different? I guess I’m more whiling to give this one a break. After all, time has passed, and the basic premise of having all these actors together still seems like a lot of fun. And the trailer made the film seem just like the kind of usurious but amusing romp these movies should be. Then again, I felt the same way about the trailers for the first film.

So yeah, I’ll probably see this one. But my expectations just aren’t very high.
