Oh, look! It’s another sequel to a movie I didn’t like? What are the odds?
Bruce Almighty made a ton of money. But it was booooring. There were perhaps a couple of good jokes in there, which we had already seen in the trailer, of course. A total waste of a great idea. And I say that as someone who generally likes Jim Carrey’s comedic oeuvre.
The trailer makes Evan Almighty look funny. And I really like Steve Carell. And it’s a good premise. But, the trailer lacks any laugh out loud moments. And this is basically from the same people who screwed up Bruce, so I’m thinking it will probably be a let down.
